National Anthem

The teachers and principals think it’s very important to sing the national anthem.  The kids don’t take it very serious, but the teachers and principals are proud of this country and want us to embrace it.  They would be happier if we cared more.  So we think that everyone should sing it, but instead only half of the students only do.

  1. I agree with you. Children should take the national anthem more seriously because it is the song that makes this country great. Now i realize why the teachers try to make us sing it.

  2. I’ll have to admit, the anthem is extremely important. It shows respect to the country. I do wonder why noobody does it these days. Who knows?

  3. I guess we, the students, should embrace the national anthem as a normal part of school thing. Everyone just looks up to the “cool” kids. The cool kids are the kids that either make fun of the anthem, or talk during it. Since the cool kids are like the funnies kids in the class, everyone follows them and tries to be like them. I don’t think failing nore then half the tests they got is cool. I don’t want to be cool. But i don’t sing it because I just don’t want to thats all.

  4. i definitley agree on you with this on shirley. i always wonder to myself why nobody sings the national anthem anymore. it is very important becasue of all the soldiers in iraq fighting for us. we have to show respect to our country and to the soldiers. it is very rude.
