Today was one of those okay days. I woke up at like 10:30. Then I went to wash up. After, I made myself scrambled egg and toast and a cup of juice. At about 11:30 I went on the computer to look at what was new on the website. I found many new things and I answered some of the questions. For some things, I just read the comments. At about 12 I signed onto aim to talk to some friends. I talk to Tiffany, Nicole and Min H. I talk to them for about 45 minutes. At about 1 my family and I went to Pathmark and then we went to my cousins house. At my cousin’s house, I first read my book, Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul. I read for about a half hour. At my cousins house, I played the Wii, cards, his Gameboy Advance DS, and watched some t.v. We ate dinner at about 8 and had watermelons for desert. At about 10, we went home. When we got home, I went on the computer to look at what else was new on the website. Now here I am sharing my day with everyone at 11 pm!!!!

The hardest thing about summer vacation is finding fun things to do. It gets so boring just sitting around waiting for your friends to come out or get back from vacation. So what do you do? Give us a list of great things to do this summer. Start with adventures you have had or are going to have so maybe we can join you.

There are many programs throughout the 5 boroughs for various games and activities in different schools. Try to get a group together that shares in your interests and get out to one of those programs and have fun. N

I would just like to say that I just saw a sneak preview of the movie Transformers at the Alpine movie theatre and I thought it was a great movie. At the movie I saw Truman, Tiffany’s brother and he also loved the movie. So far this summer I saw Live Free or Die Hard and Transformers and they were both really good.
I recommend this movie for any fan of the series or those of you out there that like comedic action packed movies.
It was visually stunning. Two and a half hours of a really great flowing movie. Optimus Prime and BumbleBee are two very likable characters who were well developed.
I want to see the cyber versions of your comic characters getting started and I would love to see a cybertron influence alla the transformers movie.
I hope everything is going great and I look forward to next year. Keep the poetry flowing, great job so far guys. I want to feel the nostalgia of summer.

We got to the border Of North and South Carolina (I know that doesn’t really make any sense). After we checked in, we went to our villa. It was awesome, I had had two beds and my own bathroom. After my Mom made dinner we went to Publix (yes I spelled it right). It’s comparable to Shop Rite or Path Mark.The next day we just stayed in the villa because my Mom and Nino didn’t feel well (probably was the road). I watched a movie with my Mom and called my Dad. The next day we went to EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow) and then we went to the Magic Kingdom. The new Pirates ride was cool. They threw Johnny Depp in there and Davy Jones in at the start of the ride. I filmed our journey through the parks on my trusty camcorder (I did for our whole stay in Florida). We did other things in the park…….we did you know, “stuff”. Wednesday we couldn’t do any thing because it rained so, we went to WAL-MART,where I picked up some of those movies for a dollar and watched a movie.Thursday we went to Disney MGM Studios and the Magic Kingdom. We had to buy souvenirs for the whole family so we were in the Magic Kingdom until around 10 ish. While on our family gift spree, in one of the stores we met some british dude named Tom (coincidence indeed). When we got back to the villa I went to sleep.

The next morning we were back on the road. We drove the entire day and into the night, we didn’t stop until we got home at 6ish in the morning. Since I hadn’t had a full uninterrupted slumber in a while, I went to sleep. It felt so good to be in my bed. I woke up at 5:30 in the evening and ate dinner. Then, I felt sick. I feel a little better. I checked the site and saw my name on the reporter list and got to typin’. So, now here I am at 10:07
at night typing this.

Well, that was my week.I’ll be locking myself in my room and writing new Earthman stories, so expect that sometime soon and I guess once I’m done editing our vacation video I’ll post that via Youtube and then post it on the site. Oh and before I forget NCredib36 how was Live Free or Die Hard. That’s all for me

June 30

I am in King of Prussia, PA right now playing in a chess tournament. I will play 54 hours of chess over 5 days! Now that’s a lot of CHESS!

Game 1
I lost my first game. I was clearly winning but somehow made a silly move and lost the game. “Everybody makes mistakes”- MNM
Game 2
I won my second game in less than 3 hours. It meant I can sleep more. Ya!

July 1
Game 3
I played a 5 hour long game and it came down to the final 4 seconds. My opponent thought he had the game on time, little did he know of my speed! I beat him! He had to call the refs because he thought my clock malfunctioned.
Game 4
I was running late since I needed to get a quick brunch. I arrived 25 minutes late, but the game didn’t even last an hour. He had some fancy $500 dollar chess set and had an attitude. We didn’t shake hands before or after the game. I have played 2 perfect games! I am feeling my game back. Btw N-credible, I am seed #36 of my division.

July 2
Game 5
I played nearly a 6 hour game. I was on the defense most of the time. He eventually broke through and won. I am now 3-2. I need to win the rest of my games to stay in contention for top 10 I got a chance to stop by The King of Prussia Mall. It had every possible store you can think of!! I picked up a rubiks cube. I also bought some white tea.

July 3
Game 6
I took an early positional lead… but I had trouble maintaining it. It took some precision moves for me to finally convert my small advantages into a win.
Game 7
This was a long long game. It lasted almost six hours. It was past midnight before I finally got the win. It was like the only game left in the convention center. I am now 5-2, with 2 games to go.

July 4
Game 8
The game got very complicated and eventually I was able to create a position where I took a clear advantage. My opponent resigned shortly after. I am now 6-2 and have made it into the top 10, with 1 round to go.
Game 9
The final game: If I won, I would go into the top 5, if I drew, top 15, and if I lost, top 25. I played using the white pieces, which I have a high success rate with. I took an early commanding lead. My opponent’s position was hopeless. It was down to less than 1 minute on his clock to my 1 hour. Everything was going my way. Then, BOOM, I made a blunder, a mistake, a turnover! I “snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.”

This is like The Yankees up 5-2 in the bottom of the ninth. Mariano Rivera comes on with 2 men on base. He strikes out 2, and then the next person at bat singles to load the bases. It is now 2 outs, and Rivera gets the count to 0-2. He is one strike away from winning the game. Rivera gives up a GRAND SLAM. The chance
of that happening was close to zero.

Post game analysis: I took a commanding lead early. I started feeling nervous as my advantage added up. I started thinking about messing up and what ifs. I no longer had the goal in focus. I should have taken my time to refocus and think positive. I will use this as a lesson learned for next year. I will be back!

Just don’t lose to any 7 year olds again like last time. Maybe you should tell the kids that story someday so they can learn to never underestimate any opponent. I’m also shocked. How come there wasn’t any report of the day? Hmmmm…………..

Get Writing. I hope everyone is having fun.

The new Harry Potter book comes out soon and there is a block party set up for its release date July 20th on 3rd avenue and 84th street at the Bookmark Shop from 8 till 11:30PM when the book goes on sale. It’s an all day event with rides and character sitings. Mr G famous for “reading never takes a vacation” will be there.
I want to hear from the other weekly reporters ASAP.
There is a sneak preview of the movie Harry Potter on July 10th 8:00 at the Alpine.

It is a good game. I pretend that I am a teacher all the time just ask wavy hand girl and her mom.
There are a lot of new things posted on the web everyday but it just takes some getting used to knowing how to look for it.
This is why I tell Mr M, who by the way is letting me down big time, to create a new site which is easier to surf or create a help spot and tutorial for those of us that are not familiar with BOE blog sites.
If you look at each particular category and the comments for each one the number will reveal to you if a new comment has been left.
So don’t be afraid to spend some time searching the site and respond back to posts that the teachers and your fellow students have left behind.

Summer break can be harder than school and its only a few days old.
Look for adventures- start at your neighborhood library and grab a good book after some browsing. Then go outside and let your mind wander off and unravel the mysteries of a good book under the shade of your favorite tree. Keep writing. Keep up the great work and know that your teachers are working tirelessly on your behalf setting up the room and curriculum for our next adventure. After about fifteen minutes of talking, we started some math. We learned some formulas and math symbols. At about 3 thirty, we were dismissed. During all that time, I made three new friends, Fionna, Jennifer and Britina. For some reason I felt like it wasn’t summer school because all the girls that were “friends” were practically socializing the whole time. After school, my mom took us to the library. My sisters borrowed the books they needed for the summer packet from school. Then we went home and my mom said that we didn’t have to do the homework today. So we played on the computer and on the Game Boy Advance DS and had some food that my uncle bought. Then we watched some t.v and ate chips. When my mom got home, she made a fruit salad and some dinner. We had dinner at about 8 again. Then I took a shower, brushed my teeth and washed my face. When my father got home, I started to watch a show with him until about 4 in the morning and that was when I went to bed!!!!

When we got home, I turned on my computer to see who was on aim and what was new on this website. Now here I am typing up my day. After this, I am going to take a shower, get ready for school and then go straight to BED!!!!

At home I ate a fruit salad and then I turned on my computer. First, I signed onto aim and then I went on to the website to see what was new that was going on. Then I helped my sisters with their homework and after they finished, we watched t.v. until mommy came home from work. Then I took a shower and then I played on the computer with my littlest sister. At about 8, we had dinner and after that my sister and I went back on the computer to play. Now, I stopped playing with my little sister and now I am reporting my day on the website!!!! After this, I am going to wash my face, brush my teeth and go to BED!!!!

I know I’m a bit late for my report but I been grounded since June.
Do you ask why I’ve been grounded?
It was really stupid because you know what happens, when you argue with your mom you will never win.
Even so I continued arguing with her and didn’t stop.
I’m still punished even though it is my birthday today. This time I’m sneak playing…
I’m at home with my cousin. But shes a pig, shes still sleeping. John and Jackie fell asleep because they are bored. You know, when people are bored they fall asleep.
My mom is in Food Town so it will be a few hours..
Shopping at night is dangerous,Right?
but my mom likes to shop at night.

Fine-you could blame me for fighting with my mom but I still think I’m right.
Don’t ask what the fight was about because I won’t answer.
