=It is spring 2009 and everyone is ready for it. Everyone is prepared for the opening season of the New York Yankees and the New York Mets! The new Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium are opening this year. Yankee stadium is hosting the Cleveland Indians on the opening day, April 16, 2009.

    It’s also time for kids to join baseball and get ready for the next vacation in April. You should start cleaning up because spring cleaning is here! Not only that but warmer weather is coming and is great for outdoor activities.

Warmer weather means different clothes for school. You should wear to school, a short sleeve shirt, shorts, and sneakers. Sometimes it might be a little cold so you might have to wear a light jacket or a sweater. Are you ready for spring 2009?! 

Nothing to say in a conversation? Well then… I think I can help you with that. Well… first of all, if you’re meeting someone for the first time, you can tell the person about yourself. Uh… let’s see… what else? Oh, yes. If you’re with your best friend and you ran out of stuff to say, you can just say random stuff. Like… “Cookies” or… “Candy” or even “look! IT’S A FLYING ELMO!” ummm… what else can you talk about…? Uhhh… you can talk about your favorite games, your hobbies, what you did yesterday, food, or you can just say “hi” a million times.

          In the year of AD 2017 after Ultraman Tiga has saved the world and the government has created another GUTS team named Super GUTS. In that year, aliens from Mars named, The Spheres started to appear. They tried to invade Earth. Shin Asuka has entered the team and was in the process of the training to be an agent. His comrades were attacked by a sphere while he was on the ship.  He ejects from the ship and encounters a shining light. That shining light saved Asuka’s life. After he was saved by the light, he found an object call the Reflasher. When the aliens attacked again, Asuka used the Reflasher and transformed it into a colossal Giant named Ultraman Dyna. Ultraman Dyna and Asuka combined forces to fight the Spheres and at the end of the series Ultraman Dyna/Asuka has saved earth like Ultraman Tiga did twenty years ago.   

On Saturday March 14, around 9:30 AM, fire broke out at Totonno’s Pizzeria in Coney Island. The fire started when the coal burning oven caught fire and spread to the roof causing major damage. No one was injured but many people were upset that one of their favorite pizzerias had burned down. The pizzeria was first opened in 1924 by Anthony Totonno Pero and was known as the oldest continuously operating pizzeria in the United States; run by the same family.  They used fresh tomatoes imported from Italy, handmade mozzerella cheese, and dough which is made everyday. They are still 3 other locations you can go to. 2 of them are in Manhattan and the other is in Yonkers. These resturants aren’t as old but more modern. They close whenever they run out of dough and only serve pizza by the pie. The fire caused minor injuries for 3 firefighters. The cause of the fire is unknown to all. The owner said that the night before the coal that was used to heat the oven was in the firebox. They have been doing that every Friday night for the past 85 years. The owner, Louise Ciminieri, says that she will rebuild even though there was a lot of damage and that the pizza will taste just as good as it did before.   

             I recommend the book Twilight.  The author of Twilight is named Stephanie Meyer. I recommend the book Twilight because it is a very interesting book. It is about vampire love. In this book the main characters are Isabella Swan also known as Bella Swan and the Cullens. The Cullens are vampires except for Doctor Cullen. Bella is in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen. In the first series of this book, Twilight Bella Swan who came from Arizona move to Forks to live with her father. Bella meets many people. She meets Mike, Jessica, Tyler, Angela, Lauren, Jacob, and Edward. Since Bella already know that the Cullens are vampires she visits their home. They were going to start to play baseball. Alice(Edwards sister) has a vision that there would be vampire visitors coming. There would be 3 vampires. A little while later the 3 vampires came. Their names were Laurent, Victoria, and James. When the Cullens and Bella started to leave James smelled and found out that Bella was human. Now from that day on James kept trying to find Bella and drink her blood. Therefore Bella had to leave Forks. One day James called Bella to come to her mother’s house without telling anyone if she values her mother’s life. So Bella went to her mother’s house but he was just tricking her. When she found out James already broke one of her leg and then Edward came to the rescue. Edward and James were fighting then James took off to bite Bella.  Then the other Cullens came to the rescue too. Alice and Jasper went to destroy James in the fire. So then Dr. Cullen told Edward to go to Bella and asked him to suck the venom out of Bella’s body. When Dr. Cullen told him to stop he didn’t but sometime later he stopped and then everything was alright.
