Create a three page report, double spaced, with a cover. Also create a poster, diorama or painting of the mythical creature. This project is due on December 3rd. You will present an Oral report of this creature.

As extra credit, you may create your own mythical creature and write an origin story for it.

1. Create a wall painting for a tomb of an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh – include pictures of the life of the pharaoh. Write one page about it.

2. Create a new alphabet similar to the hieroglyphics that are used in Ancient Egypt. Write a phrase using your new alphabet. Remember to write one page about hieroglyphics as well.

3. Create a death mask for an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh. Remember to include one page about death masks, what are they, what are they made of and why there were used?

4. Create a map of the Ancient Land of Egypt or Nubia. Remember to include a key detailing where all the important spots in Egypt were. Also write one page about the Nile River.

5. Create a list of items that you would bring to the Afterlife. Create 3 of those items using an art medium. Also, write one page about what the Egyptians believed about an afterlife and the goods that they would bring.
