Dress Code

In our school we wear a dress code which is a collared shirt {any color}, jeans, sneakers or shoes. We also wear uniform only during an assembly. This includes a white collared shirt, shoes, dark blue skirt or jeans.  As writers, we also have our opinion about the dress code and uniform.

Our opinion about the dress code and uniform is that it is not a bad idea. This is because dress code is better to wear in school everyday than the uniform. Some students like the dress code better and they wear it everyday well, at least some of them do.

The dress code has its good and bad points. It is good because kids won’t spend so long on getting dressed. Dress code is bad because parents have to spend tons of money on new clothes. If you go to special stores you can possible get good deals on dress code.

Here are some possible dress code ideas:

I agree with the dress code article because some people do wear dress code and some people don’t. I think most people can figure out who the other person is by what they wear.

I don’t see any real point in a dress code. Although, one possible reason might be to show other students/parents that 180 students care about how they dress. I wonder if 180 students need to wear anything else. Perhaps a tie/suit?

I do like the idea for dress code instead of uniform because there is a wider variety of things to wear. But, I myself have mostly uncollared shirts and I like it more. I would rather like the students to be able to wear what they want

I think the dress code is a really good idea than the uniform.Instead of some people wearing.evreyone should wear it.

I agree with agent k. We’re very lucky that we just need a collared shirt instead of a suit. That would be very annoying! Also, wearing what the students want is a good and bad idea. Wearing what the students want would make them more comfortable, however, doing that would give 180 a bad example of school control.

I think that the dress code in the school is good because like you guys said it is easier for kids to get dressed and I think that it is easier for boys more then girls because girls take for ever getting dressed because the girls in 8th grade sometimes wear mini skirts so that leds to them trying to buy and find long skirts up to the knee.
