A New Life, a New World-Part One

June 24, 2009

“LALALALALALALALALALALALALA!!!” That was Helen. Helen is a bit unusual for a 13-year-old. She has no parents, no siblings; her only companion was her close-to-dead cat, Mary. “Quack,” said Mary. Like her owner, Mary was unusual. Helen was creative, though. When she was a little girl, about 4 years old, she decided to always be happy. Everyday, she would have a new name, a new plan, and a new personality. Today, she was to be Helen, and she was to sing with her lovely cat, Mary. “LALALALALALALALALA!!!!” screeched Mary. “What about her neighbors?” you may be wondering. Well… Mary drove all her neighbors insane, so they all moved out of their houses… far, far away from Helen. “Quackkkkkkkk!!!!!!” screeched Mary, and fell dead asleep.

Helen was not having fun. “Helen make new plan. Helen be Lily now, Lily make smoothie for hair!” Translation: Helen is bored, she changed her name to Lily, and her new plan is to make smoothies to wash her hair. Hmm… sounds like fun…

“Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,” went the blender. “Stwabewwy and mango!” said Lily. Lily turned the blender off and removed the cap. She poured the drink all over her head and fell asleep.

When Lily awoke, she found the sun in her eyes. It was another day. “Another day, another life,” Lily said. “Lily be Noelle. Noelle go run around and have fun!” Noelle said. And so she ran. Ran like the wind… ran like no one ever ran before! “MOOOOOO!” said Mary. Nobody liked Noelle, but Noelle always found a way to keep herself happy and entertained. Noelle continued to run. Five minutes later, Noelle could run no more. She dragged herself to Mary and plopped to the floor.

Before she knew it, it was already nighttime. Noelle looked up at the stars. “Look, Mary. The stars are shining brightly tonight,” she said. “OH! AND LOOK AT THE MOON! It’s so bright…” Then, out of nowhere, Noelle saw a moving object. “Mary, what is that? Don’t tell me it’s another flying cow…” (Noelle and Mary used to watch the stars everyday, until Mary started acting weirdly) “Vroom…” said Mary.

Suddenly, Noelle knew what the moving object was. It was a shooting star! (Of course, we know that there are no such things as shooting stars, they’re really meteors, but Noelle thinks differently than us, doesn’t she?) “Hm…” said Noelle. “I wish… that the world would change, it would be wonderful to live in a new world; it would be wonderful to have a new life…”

And with that, she drifted off to sleep. Mary was confused. “Meow…” she said, and fell asleep.

The next morning, Noelle woke up feeling very energetic. Oh… she forgot to change her name. Hm… She shall be… Karen. Yes… Karen woke up feeling very energetic. Karen scratched her head and looked up at the sky. “I just love the morning air, don’t you, Mary?” No reply. “Mary??” No answer. “MARY!?!?!?!” Karen looked around wildly for her cat, but had no luck. Mary turned around and saw a house. She’s never seen this house before. Mary looked down to the floor. Then, she just realized she was wearing different clothes. “THIS IS ALL SO WEIRD!!!” she said. “CAN SOMEONE PLEASEEE TELL ME WHAT’S GOING ON?” Just then, there was a noise. It was a twig. Someone had snapped a twig… but who…? “Karen turned around and shook. “Wh-who’s there?” she asked. “Show yourself!”

I hope you’ve enjoyed part one! Stay tuned for part two… A New Life, A New World Part Two coming soon to a website near you!!!!!

So Much for Her Happy Ending

June 3, 2009

There once was wealthy girl at age 11 whose name was Emma. She was spoiled and got everything she wanted, even things she did not even want. One day, she was looking out her balcony and said “I do not deserve all these things. My parents do not see that I would like to live an average life.”

She sighed in depression and found a man riding on a horse. He stopped at her mansion and a few minutes later, she found the man attractive. She rushed down to the front door and introduced herself to the man. She found the man’s name was Ian and thought that it was such a wonderful name. She loved Ian for who he was and thought he loved her back the way she did.

For years and years she had not met anyone else like Ian. What she did not even think about or know was that she was wrong the whole time. Ian did not even like Emma, except her wealth. When she was 18 years old, she went out to find Ian, since he was currently living at her enormous mansion. She called out to him and was about to do something completely insane to him when she found him. Moments later she said to Ian “Ian Knottwurthy, I, Emma Hor will state that I love you and was wondering…will you marry me?”

Ian did not respond for a few moments and then snapped back into reality. He remembered his plan and said yes with a smirk on his face. Ian said that he was going to propose to her and that he already talked to her father so she can go pick out a white dress. She did and heard some music. The lyrics went like this:

“We were both young when I first saw you

I close my eyes

And the flashback starts

I’m standing there

On the balcony in summer air

See the lights

See the party, the ball gowns

See you make your way through the crowds

And say hello, little did I know

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles

And my daddy said stay away from Juliet

And I was crying on the staircase

Begging you please don’t go, and I said

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone

I’ll be waiting, all there’s left to do is run

You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess

It’s a love story baby just say yes

So I sneak out to the garden to see you

We keep quiet cause we’re dead if they knew

So close your eyes

Escape the town for a little while

Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter

And my daddy said stay away from Juliet

But you were everything of me

I was begging you please don’t go and I said

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone

I’ll be waiting all there’s left to do is run

You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess

It’s a love story baby just say yes

Romeo save me, they’re trying to tell me how to feel

This love is difficult, but it’s real

Don’t be afraid, we’ll make it out of this mess

It’s a love story baby just say yes

Oh oh

I got tired of waiting

Wondering if you were ever coming around

My faith in you is fading

When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said

Romeo save me I’ve been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head? I don’t know what to think
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring

And said, marry me Juliet
You’ll never have to be alone
I love you and that’s all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It’s a love story baby just say yes

Oh, oh,
Oh, oh
Cause we were both young when I first saw you…

She smiled to herself and realized that the song was related to her life. She was happy as ever.

A few more years had passed and one tragic moment happened one their first anniversary. Emma woke up happily but saw a note on her desk. She picked it up and read it aloud.

“Dear Emma,

I hope you did not find out these last few years but… to tell the truth I did not care about you at all. The only part of you that I cared about was your money. When you read this, I will be gone, running away into a different country with all your money. I do not care about your feelings so, good-bye Emma.

From,

Ian Knottwurthy”

Emma was tearing. She went back onto her bed and starting sobbing on her pillow. This was no happy ending for her. It’s a darn shame. All this time he was pretending. So much for her happy ending.

The Story

May 20, 2009

Once upon a time… there were two dogs… but they were not ordinary dogs… they were actually humans. These dogs… were cursed. Cursed with a spell no one can ever break. Well… unless… you’re a witch. (Which we hope you’re not…because then you’d know that this story… is about… the person who always changes his/her name a lot and his/her companion.) So… he/she is here to tell us his/her story… But first, let’s give him/her and his/her companion a name.

       So… “Him/Her” will be… Jamie and his /her companion will be… Kitty. Yes… Jamie and Kitty… (JK)

Now the real story begins… How J&K became dogs…

Okay… So… One day, Jamie and Kitty were walking in the park, and this weird, random, old lady came out of nowhere and hit them on the head. They were unconscious for 5 days… They woke up to find the sun in their eyes. All of a sudden, they heard a growling noise… and it was not their stomachs.

After 2 minutes of listening for another hint of what the noise may have been, they concluded that the noise were actually their stomachs. Kitty got up and ran around like a total maniac. A few seconds later, Kitty returned back to her resting spot with a hotdog. Jamie died… somehow… for some… strange reason…

THIS IS GETTING CREEPY! DIDN’T I SAY JAMIE WAS THE ONE TELLING ME THIS STORY? Well… you never know if you’re talking to a ghost or not these days; you can never tell them apart. And if you stare into a ghosts’ eyes, even for a second, you will automatically turn into a ghost yourself, Yes… creepy… very, very creepy…

After finishing her hotdog, Kitty got up and ran. Ran for some strange reason.

BAM!

Kitty rammed into a tree. “Ouch,” she said. “This tree wasn’t here before…” Kitty turned around. BAM! She bumped against something… another tree! Kitty turned 90 Degrees clockwise… and… BAM! Kitty fell to the floor, unconscious.

What will happen next? POST A COMMENT AND GIVE ME YOUR SUGGESTIONS! I will be waiting… I am idea thirsty.
